The Alameda County Public Health Commission (ACPHC) is an advisory committee tasked with reviewing health needs, providing policy recommendations, and building community capacity as related to public health priorities.

The Commission meets on the second Thursday of each month, with meetings open to the public. Please see the Meetings tab for agendas and locations.

NOTE: Due to the COVID-19 public health emergency, in-person meetings have been suspended. All Commission meetings are held virtually until further notice. Please see the agendas for call-in information, or email phcommission@gmail.com for assistance.

AUTHORITY

Established June 19, 1979 by resolution number 183410, as the Public Health Advisory Committee. The name was change by amendment of their Bylaws on July 1, 2008 and September 27, 2016.
