The Strategic Initiatives Committee supports the overall mission of the Public Health Commission. It assists the Commission in its advocacy and research for adequate resources for public health. It also transmits information and recommendations to the Board of Supervisors about resources and actions to improve community health.

AUTHORITY

Established June 19, 1979 by resolution number 183410, as the Public Health Advisory Committee. The name was change by amendment of their Bylaws on July 1, 2008 and September 27, 2016.
