The Oral Health Committee meets quarterly:

The goal of the Oral Health Committee is to oversee the five-year strategic plan's implementation to improve the oral health of children in Alameda County. It also ensures the quality of its activities, promotes collaboration, communication, coordination, and learning among those involved in the plan's implementation and its stakeholders, and advocates for laws that support dental health.

The Alameda County Public Health Commission (ACPHC) is an advisory committee tasked with reviewing health needs, providing policy recommendations, and building community capacity as related to public health priorities.

AUTHORITY

Established June 19, 1979 by resolution number 183410, as the Public Health Advisory Committee. The name was change by amendment of their Bylaws on July 1, 2008 and September 27, 2016.
